Indoor greenery effect as anxiety reduction to improve human health and wellbeing

Ambience affects user behavior through various aspects. Human exposure to nature is proven to reduce a person's level of anxiety. Therefore, the natural connection to the interior can affect a person's anxiety level. Meanwhile, there are still no studies on the impact of interior affect a person anxiety level. whereas the use of natural elements such as the use of plants and the presence of natural lighting can reduce anxiety disorders in users.  The purpose of this study is to examine the use of green plants in interior can affect the anxiety level of users. In hope that by bringing outdoor greenery indoor can reduce anxiety level of the user for healthier environment and increase a person wellbeing for its sustainable purposes. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, with literature study of greenery effect in user as a subject. The results of this study found that the use of natural elements such as greenery environment and natural lighting in interior space, can be used as a material to reduce user anxiety level to create sustainable environment for better health and wellbeing.
