Abstract


Corona virus or as known as Covid-19 is a new virus that was first discovered in Wuhan, China, at the end of 2019. This virus is a new virus that is quite disturbing for many people and already become a global pandemic. This virus attacks the human respiratory area, which can cause respiratory problems and even loss of life. Covid-19 virus transmission is also very fast and very easy, it is transmitted through the airborne and human droplets. Therefore, to reduce the rate of transmission of this virus, several researchers revealed that social distancing is one way to suppress the transmission of Covid-19 virus. In the era of technology, The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the systems that can help to solve this problem. The Internet of Things (IoT) is able to use one or more devices that are connected to the network and it is able to exchange data and information effectively and efficiently. In this research, we will use the Internet of Things (IoT) for detecting places that have a potential where the crowds will happen, so that people can avoid the location and social distancing can be done in these places. Besides, the Internet of Things (IoT) can be used to detect the covid-19 virus in our bodies, through body temperature, oxygen levels, etc. Hopefully this research can help to solve the global pandemic problem and help the medical field who are in charge of handling Covid-19.
