Abstract

Freshwater lobsters have a high mortality rate due to poor water quality or cannibalism between lobsters. Efforts to maintain the quality of pond water can be done by monitoring water quality and feeding according to the needs of freshwater crayfish with an integrated IoT system monitoring website. This research was conducted in a lobster pound at the Employee Consumer Cooperative of PT.Aplikanusa Lintasarta (KOPKARLA). This study aims to build a system that can increase the survival of freshwater crayfish. In this study, freshwater crayfish with the type of red claw was used with a total of 20 lobster seeds in each pond. The method used in this research is the Waterfall model. This study uses a microcontroller ESP8266, ESP32-CAM, TDS sensor, pH sensor, DS18B20, ultrasonic, and website monitoring. In this study, the sensor error rate value was < 1.5%, the UAT result was 94% and the Survival Rate value was 100%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the IoT system can increase the Survival Rate of freshwater crayfish, has a sensor error rate that is in accordance with KOPKARLA standards and is a feasible system to implement.
