Abstract

MSMEs, which account for 99 percent of all enterprises and provide more than 60 percent of Indonesia's GDP, have long been the country's critical engines of economic growth. This study adds significantly to the existing entrepreneurial literature by examining social media learning on knowledge-based activities. The Rasch model was used in this study. It evaluated social media as a digital platform where newbie entrepreneurs can use resources and capabilities through knowledge-based activities to develop digital learning among them. The study's outcomes demonstrate that there is a significant difference in exploitative behaviors between gen Y and gen Z. On the contrary, there are no significant differences in both generations' explorative and knowledge-sharing behaviors. It means they have the same level of explorative and knowledge-sharing behaviors.
